Based on which criteria is the period predicted?
The prediction is based on date fields found on the document, e.g., the invoice date or the service period. If no date field is recognized, the current month is used. Additionally, the period can be determined based on the end of the service period. Contact your responsible account manager for this setting.
How can I decide whether the period is read out automatically or set manually?
When uploading documents in the web version of Finmatics, you can choose between two options. You can either set the period manually or have it predicted automatically using the "Automatic assignment of the period" checkbox.
The last selected option is saved. If you have checked the automatic assignment, this option will remain active the next time you open it. The same applies to the manual assignment of the period.
