How do I manage my company's information in Finmatics?

Learn how to manage your companies' information and personalise the user interface of the Finmatics mobile app and web portal.

Where can I manage my information?

Click on "Companies" in the  menu on the left.

If you have been assigned to several companies, first select the correct company. 

Which settings can I configure?

You have access to the tabs "General", "Configuration" and "Personalization," where you can make changes:

General

Here you can edit and supplement the master data of your company, such as address or VAT identification number. You can also add your website URL in the format https://yourdomain.com.

Don't forget to click on "Save" in the bottom right corner once you're done.

If you use DATEV as your ERP system, you can also enter your consultant number here.

If you'd like to configure an automatic logout after a certain amount of time, you can also change the settings here and choose between different timeframes.

Configuration

In the Configuration tab you can customise some automations by yourself and e.g. set configurations for page separation, processing invoices or masterdata creation. You can find further information in How do I use the configuration-screen?.

Personalization

If you have a personalized branding, users with the "Company Masterdata management" permission can customize the interface of the web portal and the Finmatics Mobile App.

Under "Domain" you can integrate one of your websites or e.g. your Youtube channel directly into the mobile app. Enter the URL (e.g. www.kanzleiname.com) and the website appears for all mobile app users under "Information". This way, for example, published news on your website can be made directly available to the users of the mobile app. You can also upload your personalised logo and favicon here. 

You also have the option of individually configuring the accent colour and the colour of the header.

 

To do this, click on the button on the right to open the colour selection menu. Set the colour either using the slider or the colour mixer. Alternatively, the RGB values can also be entered manually.

 

You can also specify the colours in which the symbols for processes are displayed.

Once you have made the respective settings, click on "Save" at the bottom right. As soon as you click on "Save", all users will see your logo placed in the top left-hand corner of both the Finmatics web portal and the mobile app.

To make the adjustments visible, log out and in again.

If you want to undo the branding changes, click on "Delete personalization" at the bottom left.
