How does the Checkbot work?

This article explains how the checkbot is working.

What is the Checkbot?

The Checkbot converts e-invoices sent by e-mail into a readable format. This means that they can then be read and processed in Finmatics just like normal invoices. Further information on processing e-invoices can be found in How does Finmatics process e-invoices?.

How does the Checkbot work?

Send the XML file by e-mail to the desired process. For more information on transmission by e-mail, read How can documents be sent to Finmatics via email?.

Once the e-mail has been received, Finmatics collects it and the e-mail is filed. The XML file of the e-mail is then processed. Afterwards you will receive a confirmation email in which you can view the now visualised document via a link. If the attachment is incorrect, you will also receive feedback with the corresponding information.

You can now open the PDF and find information at the top that the original XML file has been embedded in this PDF.

How do I get access to the Checkbot?

For more information and to activate the Checkbot, please contact your account manager.

Which notification settings are available?

Decide whether the e-mail notification should be deactivated or whether you want to be notified when you receive e-invoices or notifications for all incoming invoices.
You can view the selected configuration in the client-screen in the Configurations tab under ‘Document inbound" - "Inbound Configuration". However, the setting itself is made by our support team. Please send an e-mail to support@finmatics.com.
