In most cases, master data and training data are made available directly via ready-made interfaces. Finmatics also provides upload options (via .csv) and a REST API.
- Automatic synchronisation via interface
- Import via .csv or DATEV batch format
- Synchronisation via REST-API
Automatic synchronisation via interface
Finmatics has a number of standard interfaces which enable the synchronisation of training data between the accounting system and Finmatics.
*see DATEV interface description
Import via .csv or DATEV batch format
General ledger accounts, personal accounts, cost categories and training data can also be easily uploaded as csv. via the Finmatics frontend.
If you use DATEV, you can upload master data and training data directly in batch format. It is best to follow the instructions in the following article:
- DATEV - How do I export personal and G/L accounts as well as transaction data from Rechnungswesen to Finmatics?
Only use the manual import if the master data cannot be synchronised automatically between your ERP/accounting system and Finmatics.
Click on Clients, select the relevant tab (business partners, cost centres, etc.) and then click on "Import".
It is also possible to upload several files at once by dragging several files into the pop-up window that opens after clicking on "Import".
Cost centres / cost units
Transactions can be uploaded to the client screen as training data.
With good training data, the effectiveness of automation can be increased.
You can download training data in DATEV Unternehmen Online as follows:
Synchronisation via REST-API
In addition to importing via .csv, master data and training data can be synchronised with Finmatics via REST API. You can find further information under Is it possible to connect to Finmatics via REST API?.
